ProOne Water filter jug 1.5L

The ProOne water filter jug 1.5L is a water filter jug with a ProOne G3.0 M water filter cartridge in it. Ideal for filtering water on the go or when travelling, think for example when on holiday at a campsite, in a holiday home or in a motorhome. Of course, it is also suitable for use at home or in the office. It requires no power or connection, you can enjoy pure water at any time of the day. Ideal for use with tap water and most natural drinking water sources (including water from lakes, rivers, streams, ponds and rainwater).

The ProOne water filter jug is one of a kind, featuring advanced ProOne G3.0 gravity filtration technology. The included ProOne G3.0 M water filter cartridge removes more than 200 contaminants, including fluoride, chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, bacteria, pharmaceuticals, lead and heavy metals,... while preserving good minerals. It is infused with silver to prevent bacterial growth. ProOne G3.0 filter elements have been tested by a independent laboratory according to NSF/ANSI 42, 53, P231, P401 and P473 standards.
 

Unique design of the ProOne water filter jug

Water filter jugs may all look the same, but the ProOne water filter jug is unique. Instead of the traditional pour-through filter, the ProOne water filter jug uses an advanced gravity filter technology, reducing the amount of contaminants in your drinking water. Additionally, in traditional water filter jugs, the filter sits in the filtered water, potentially allowing cross-contamination of your drinking water. The unique design of the ProOne water filter jug places the filter upright in the container, outside the filtered water, reducing the risk of cross-contamination and ensuring the purest drinking water possible.

First-time use

1. Remove the product from the box and set the filter element aside for now.
2. Clean the lid, upper blue container and jug with liquid mild detergent. DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER! Dry with a soft cloth.
3. Remove the filter element from the packaging. Remove the wing nut and washer from the filter handle. While holding the plastic base of the filter element with one hand, hold it under running cold tap water, rinse and scrub for 2 minutes. MAKE SURE NO WATER GETS INTO THE STEM OF THE FILTER ELEMENT!
4. Insert the stem (with rubber washer on it) of the filter element through the hole in the upper blue bin. Tighten the wing nut on the UNDER SIDE of the upper blue bin. Do not overtighten.
5. Place the top blue container in the jug.
6. Fill the top blue container with cold tap water and place the lid. The first water run takes longer because the filter element fills completely with water first (as with any gravity filter, the water will drip, drip, drip to the bottom).
7. Discard the first two cycles of filtered water.
8. You are now ready to use and can enjoy the filtered water.
