Information about the Imperial Berkey Water filter

Berkey water filters filter out more than 99.9% of chlorine, viruses, bacteria, cysts, drug residues, parasites and dangerous chemical contaminants. Heavy metals are filtered out for 95% (up to almost 100% even with fluoride and arsenic filters). This preserves the essential minerals your body needs.

The Imperial Berkey water filter comes with 2 original Black Berkey filter elements and can be extended to 6 elements. Black Berkey filter elements use the latest technological developments in water purification. Berkey water filters are therefore considered the best and most durable water filtration systems on the market and are the best-performing portable water filters. The box of the Imperial Berkey water filter includes: 2 stainless steel chambers (top and bottom), 2 Black Berkey filter elements, 1 stainless steel lid, 1 plastic tap (with mounting hardware), 2 wing nuts (for Black Berkey filter elements), 2 washers (for Black Berkey filter elements), 1 priming button (to prime Black Berkey filter elements), 4 blocking plugs (to fill the free holes, which can thus be used to expand the water filter with additional Black Berkey filter elements) and the Priming Starter Kit.
 

Installation

You can easily assemble the Imperial Berkey in minutes without tools. The first step in preparing a Berkey water filter is priming Black Berkey filter elements. It is important that this is done properly, otherwise purifying the water will take a very long time.
