Children's tea Strawberry Spa by Okae for Kids - Children have been at the heart of the entire development of Okae for Kids children's tea. For instance, they gave their honest opinions on the flavour and packaging, but also consciously chose only the very best ingredients. Moreover, only tea was chosen that is also delicious to drink cold. This way, this children's tea offers a healthy and tasty alternative to lemonades and soft drinks!

Children's tea Strawberry Spa is a sweet high-quality organic fruit tea with bourbon vanilla and real strawberry and apple pieces. This tea is most similar to the well-known 'ranja', both because of its red colour and sweet taste. It is therefore very suitable for children who are used to rye and may have some trouble switching to sugar-free tea. Also, friends who come to play are guaranteed to love this lemonade!

Sugar-free
The tea contains no sugar and because it does not contain caffeine (aka theine), it never becomes bitter in taste. As a result, it can also be enjoyed cold, as sugar-free lemonade or as an iced tea. Children's Strawberry Spa tea absorbs best in warm water, both for its flavour and its beautiful red colour. If you like to serve this tea as lemonade, it is useful to first steep the tea in a cup or mug half-filled with hot water. Once the tea is a nice deep red colour, you can top it up with cold water or ice cubes to have it chilled even faster. Did you know you can also make a whole jug in 1 go? The lemonade will keep for 2-3 days in the fridge.

Biodegradable
The tea is carefully packaged in unbleached pyramid bags made of eco-friendly PLA, derived from starchy plants such as maize. The material therefore contains no microplastics, nor has any plastic been used to close the bag or attach the label to the bag. This makes the bags 100% biodegradable!

Loose tea
Okae children's tea bags are also extra large. The more space the tea gets in the teacup or mug, the better the aroma, flavour and colour is released into the water. Large tea bags give you the effect of loose tea, as it were, but with the convenience of a tea bag. Great with (small) children!

Pregnancy tea
When you are pregnant, of course you still want to enjoy delicious tea! However, many teas contain caffeine and, as a pregnant woman, you obviously don't want to ingest too much of that. All Okae's teas are caffeine-free, which makes them very suitable for pregnant women.

Tips

- Brewing recommendation: 1/3 cold water, 2/3 hot water, then steep for 3 minutes.
- Don't throw your bag away right away, you can feel free to use it again!
- Also very suitable as a pregnancy tea!
- For children from 12 months.
- Note that fruit and herb blends often take a little longer to infuse than rooibos tea, for example.
- Also delicious as an iced tea!
- Want to give a deep red colour to the Strawberry Spa tea as quickly as possible? Then first pour hot water over the teabag until it is a nice red and then top up with cold water. This is because the red colour develops fastest in hot water.
