Webshop software
WooCommerce
Our online shop is developed with WooCommerce software, we host our online shop on a third-party server (see below). We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of data as much as possible. These security measures consist at least of the application
of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Regular backups are made to prevent data loss.
SSL certificate
We use an encrypted connection (SSL certificate) which makes data transmission 100% secure. Visitors to an online shop with an SSL certificate know that their personal data is being handled securely and that malicious parties cannot 'eavesdrop' on it. The certificate also lets them know that the data will only reach the owner. You can recognise a secure connection by the 'HTTPS' in front of the domain name and the key in the address bar.
Web hosting
Cloud86
We have chosen Cloud86 for our web hosting. Personal data you make available to us for the purpose of our services are shared with this party. Cloud86 has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we entered into with them, Cloud86 is obliged to take appropriate security measures.
E-mail and mailing lists
MailChimp
We send our e-mail newsletters using MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and e-mail address for its own purposes. You will see the
'unsubscribe' link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data are stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share information with third parties in this context.
Agrippa
We use the services of Agrippa for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Agrippa does not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.
Payments
Mollie Payments
We use the platform of Mollie to process payments in our web shop. Mollie processes your name, address and place of residence and your payment details such as your bank account, PayPal or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymised) data with third parties in this context. All aforementioned guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Mollie's services for which it engages third parties. Mollie will not retain your data for longer than permitted under the statutory periods.
Reviews
WebwinkelKeur
We collect reviews through WebwinkelKeur's platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name and e-mail address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to comment on your review. In case we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and e-mail address with WebwinkelKeur. They only use this data for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Shipping and logistics
PostNL, DHL, DPD or UPS
When you place an order with us, our job is to get your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL, DHL, DPD or UPS to carry out deliveries. This requires us to share your name, address and place of residence details with PostNL, DHL, DPD or UPS. PostNL, DHL, DPD or UPS will only use this data for the performance of the agreement. If PostNL, DHL, DPD or UPS engages subcontractors, PostNL, DHL, DPD or UPS will also make your details available to these parties.
